I hiked the Canyon Rim Trail, which starts just behind the Visitor Center, and along the canyon rim. The views are wonderful, but the lighting wasn't ideal for photography the time of year I did this. I connected to the Window Rock Nature Trail and then looped back to the Visitor Center by way of road walk.
