This log covers my hike of a different part of the Bisti / De-Na-Zin Wilderness. This location is fairly close to SR371. There are no official trails here, just a big wide-open space enclosed by a flimsy fence. The wilderness itself is absolutely fascinating and has countless hoodoos and multi-colored dirt mounds. It is easy to get lost or disoriented here and there is no signage, water or facilities available, so I recommend you take a GPS and record your tracks.
