Comments:

For our outing to Iceberg Lake we opted to tag along one of the ranger-led hikes.  We were able to pick up quite a number of tips on how to spot bear rubs on trees and the types of plants to be found along the trail.

The hike was relatively easy, which may account for the larger number of people along the trail.  A good number of them elected to eat lunch along the lake edge.  One brave soul (foolish?) waded into the water and stood on an iceberg for a photo op.  Being a ranger-led hike we of course learned that the chunks of ice in the lake were technically not icebergs since they did not calve from a glacier.

Besides the beaty of the lake itself, one of the more impressive sights was the lone mountain goat navigating its way across the sheer cliff on the opposite side of the lake.
