Running Eagle Falls
One of many waterfalls in Glacier National Park - this one is probably the easist to visit. (Photo by MikeHikes)

With lower water levels and a closer view, one gets the impression that the water is just gushing forth from the base of the mountain itself. (Photo by Austin Explorer)

The trail is described in detail in various books and websites related to Glacier National Park; this report deals with my impression of the trail.

Contrary to what you may read, the entire hike is NOT ADA accessible.  At a certain point, you will be on a path that a person with physical disabilities cannot negotiate - there is a large bench set up where such a person can view the falls.  Portions of the hike is on a boardwalk or paved and the trail that goes to the actual falls, is dirt, rock and sand with a few places you have to climb small river rocks.

The falls are very beautiful and worth the short hike from the parking area and back.  Be advised, since it is so nice and such a short distance to walk, the parking lot can fill quickly.  This is a worthwhile place to see - it's an easy stroll and a good place to relax while listening to the water fall.  When we were there, a wedding party was having photos taken.

Coppertone enjoyed the waterfalls along the trail that we hiked early today so much that a waterfall featured hike was a must do later in the day.  This trail's signature waterfall was worth the short stroll.  With a lower level of water and the top path dry, it appears that the water is just gushing from the middle of the mountain.
